General Polices

The Bulletin of  ‘Trends in  Nursing and Health  Care journal” publishes concise, original articles and contributions in the board filed of nursing sciences. The editor is responsible for the view and statements of authors expressed in their articles .The authors must transfer all copyright townships of the published manuscripts to the bulletin of Trends in Nursing and Health Care journal.

Preparation of Manuscripts

Manuscripts should be in English and written in a concise, straightforward style. Authors not fluent in English are advised to have their manuscript checked by a colleague with a good command of the language. The manuscript should present scientific findings which are essentially new and which have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should be printed on A4 paper (21 X 29.7cm) in 1. 5-line space with a margin of 2.5cm all round on one side of the page. Pages should be numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page.

1. Format:

Three (3) paper copies of the research. Copy on C.D; line on the Times New Roman, font size 14 font, size 16 bold headings are to provide a paper copy after adjusting arbitration and Review Committee for the Liberation of the magazine and a copy on CD & must include a report on the percentage of plagiarism . A template (download) is available to guide authors in the preparation of the manuscript.

2.   Length:

Manuscripts should not exceed twelve pages, including references, tables and illustrations.

3.   Manuscript section:

Articles should be organized into the following sections:

3.1.  Cover Letter

The cover letter serves to introduce a submission to the editorial staff. The letter should explain any potential conflicts concerning the exclusive nature of the paper. Authors must state all possible conflicts of interest in the manuscript, including financial, consultant, institutional and other relationships that might lead to bias or a conflict of interest. If there is no conflict of interest, this should also be explicitly stated as none declared. All sources of funding should be acknowledged in the manuscript. All relevant conflicts of interest and sources of funding should be included on the title page of the manuscript with the heading “Conflicts of Interest”

3.2.  Title of manuscripts

The title must be brief and grammatically correct. Titles do not normally include numbers, acronyms, abbreviations or punctuation. They should include sufficient detail for indexing purposes but be general enough for readers outside the field to appreciate what the paper is about. The title should be no more than 15 words in length.

3.3.  Authors’ names and institutional affiliations

This should include the full author names (with no titles or qualifications), institutional addresses (Department, Institute, City, Country), and email addresses for all authors. Authors and affiliations must be linked using superscript numerals. The corresponding author should also be indicated.

3.4.  Abstract

The abstract should be comprehensive but concise not exceed 250 words, do not include abbreviations, footnotes or references. The abstract will have four sections (Background, aim of the study, Materials and Methods and Results, Conclusion/ recommendations) will explain the significance of the work. please do not apply these distinct headings to the abstract within the article file. Please do not include any citations and avoid specialist

abbreviations. A summary of Arabic should accompany the manuscript not exceeding (250) words and should not be a strict translation of the English abstract.

  • Key Words: should include at the end of the abstract page, not more than five keywords in alphabetical order, separated by a

3.6.  Introduction

It should include relevant literature related to the problem of study, and state the reasons and purposes behind the study. Abbreviations should be spelled out the first time they are used.

3.7.  Subjects and ethod

It should include the setting where the study was done, subjects of the study and criteria for selection, tools for data collection and study design and procedure.

3.8.  Results

Tables and figures where appropriate, to improve the clarity of presentation.

Type the tables double-spaced on separate sheets. Place the table number (in Arabic numerals) and title above the table and any explanatory notes below the table.   Submit the figures in their actual size. The figure number and an arrow pointing to the top, on the back of each figure.

3.9.  Discussion

Discuss the results in relation to other relevant studies in the same field.

3.10.  Conclusion:

A conclusion may review the main points of the paper

Are the actions you are suggesting should take place bearing in mind your conclusion

3.12. Acknowledgements

The authors should first acknowledge the source of funding for the research presented in their article followed by any personal credits.

3.13 References

Articles referred to in the manuscript should be fully cited, with references to articles dated within the last five years preferred. References, photographs, tables and all other details of style must conform to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). No more than three references should be used to support a single idea. The number of references should not exceed 40 citations for original articles and 50 citations for meta-analysis articles. The APA format system uses names and years in the text, and literature sources are arranged in alphabetical order in the reference list by the surname of the first author. In the case of more than 2 authors. only the first author plus et al- should be quoted. IN the case of more than 2 authors. only the first author plus et al- should be quoted.

1.      Font is Times New Roman    
2.       Font size 12, line spacing 1.5 except abstract font size 11 and line spacing 1.25, title and heading font 14 and bold    
3.       Indentation 2.5 right and left.    
4.      The manuscript should be well formulated and revised.    

 

Title ×

 

5.      There should be only one sentence in the title of the manuscript.    
6.      The title should be a declarative sentence. There should be no end marks in the title of the manuscript, For example: question mark “?”    
7.       The title of the manuscript should be no less than 3 words and no more than 15 words.    
8.      Please capitalize the first letter in each word of the title, except the function words or proper nouns.    
For example: Nurture in Technological Innovation and Social Responsibility
 

 

The Name of the Author ×

 

1.      The name of the author should be written in English.    
2.      Titles are not included in the name of the author.

Such as: Dr. Prof.

   
3.      Please write the authors’ full names. There should not be only one word in the name of the author. If the authors’ names are special, please inform us (especially for the capital and small letter, or comma among the names).    
4.      There should be no comma in the name of one author.

For example: A., Ahmed  (The comma will be deleted.)

   
5.      There should be a period in the abbreviated form of the name. For example: A. Wilson    
6.      Please capitalize the first letter in the name of the author.

For example: Ahmed Mohamed

   
7.      Please check and confirm the name(s) of the author(s).    
For example: Ahmed Ali 1, Nahed Mohamed 2,*
 

 

Email Address ×

 

1.      The email address should be available.    
2.      Please check and confirm the authors and the corresponding email addresses.    
3.      One email address should be only attached to one author.    
4.      If there is a corresponding author in the manuscript, he or she should provide his or her email address. (There should be only one corresponding author.)

Abstract ×

 

1.      Do not exceed 250 words; do not include abbreviations, footnotes or references. The abstract will have four sections (Background, Aim of the study, Materials and Methods and Results) Conclusion/ recommendations will explain the significance of the work. A summary of an Arabic should accompany the manuscript not exceeding (250) words and should not be a strict translation of the English abstract.    
2.      The abstract must be one paragraph. Don’t write it into more than one paragraph.    
3.      Font 11 with 1.15 line spacing    
For example:

Abstract

The abstract is an independent essay which introduces the topic of the manuscript. It generally includes the research objective, the research method, the research analysis, the research results, the research conclusion, etc. An excellent abstract should give prominence to the innovative results of the research, have clear conclusion, avoid the repetition of content and give the full name of the abbreviations at the first time, which makes the manuscript easy to understand.

 

 

Keywords ×

 

1.      The number of keywords should be no less than 3 phrases and no more than 5 phrases.    
2.      It should be better to make the keywords brief and concise.    

 

The Titles in the Main Body of the Manuscript ×

 

1.      The manuscript that meets the standard of publication should have at least three parts.

For example:

1.Introduction

2.XXXXX(the detailed contents of the paper)

3.Conclusion

   
2.      Please add the numbers from the first part of the manuscript. The first part should be numbered as “1. Introduction”.    
3.      The number of the titles should be successive.    
4.      The number of the subtitles under the same part should be no less than two. Such as, there should be at least two subtitles 2.1, 2.2 under title 2; there should be at least two subtitles 2.1.1, 2.1.2 under subtitle 2.1.    
5.      If there are fourth level titles, please number the titles with Roman numerals “i, ii, iii…” (Don’t use 1.2.1.1, 1.2.1.2, 1.2.1.3…); If there are titles under the fourth level title, please number the titles with English letter “a, b, c…” (Don’t use 1.2.1.1.1, 1.2.1.1.2, 1.2.1.1.3…)    
6.      Please check and confirm all the numbers of the titles in the main body of the manuscript.

Tables ×

 

1.      The tables in the manuscript should not be in the form of pictures. They should be editable.    
2.      A caption should be given to each table and be placed immediately above its table.    
3.      Tables should be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript using the single-number system.

Such as: Table 1, Table 2, Table 3…

   
4.      Please check and confirm whether the way to split table into rows and columns is correct.    
5.      The contents in the tables should not be edited by Math Tape.    
6.      Tables comments are done in results sections while, tables it self are put on one Column format before references    
Such as:  Table 1. Descriptive statistics of approximate normality

 

Figures ×

 

1.      A caption should be given to each figure and be placed immediately beneath its figure.    
2.      The captions for the figures should not be included in the figures and should be editable.    
3.      Figures should be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript using the single-number system.

Such as: Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3…

   
4.      The number of the figures should be unified.

Such as: Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3… (Or Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3…). Don’t use fig. 1, Figure 2, fig. 1.

   
5.      There should be no wavy lines in the figures.    
6.      The contents in the figures should be clear.    
7.      The words in the figures should be written in English.    
8.      Figures comments are done in results sections while, figures itself are put on one Column format before references

References ×

 

1.      There should be at least 10 pieces of references.    
2.      Please check and confirm whether the references and the number of the references are correct and should be written in APA style    
3.      There should be no blank in contents of the references. If there should be some contents in the blank, please add them in the manuscript. If not, please also delete the blank.

For example: ___________. (2013), “Internal information technology audit process”. The lines in the reference should be revised.

   

 

Others ×

 

1.      Words in the manuscript should not be linked together.

For example: identifiablecorruptpracticesamongstaff.

   
2.      There should be no hidden words in the manuscript.

Such as: Iv.6 – drying of treated okra.

   
3.      There should be no comment in the manuscript. If there are comments, please check and revise them according to the comment s, then delete the comments.

For example:

   
4.      The parts, like Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest, References, etc. following the part of conclusion do not need to be numbered. If it is numbered, we’ll delete it.

5.       Footnotes should be brief and concise in order to facilitate the typesetting work.

Trends in Nursing and Health Care Journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published semi-annually and welcomes original papers which achieve excellence and high-quality research work focusing on health care professionals. Authors are invited to submit their work on any topic of wide spectrum coverage including evidence-based practice researches, health informatics and other researches caring for individual, families and community. Submission of articles is on understanding that the article has not been previously published in any other form and is not accepted for publication elsewhere.

Peer review process

This journal operates a double blind review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor’s decision is final. Editors are not involved in decisions about papers which they have written themselves or have been written by family members or colleagues or which relate to products or services in which the editor has an interest. Any such submission is subject to all of the journal’s usual procedures, with peer review handled independently of the relevant editor and their research groups.
